Regarding Rasmussen poll where more voters reported voting for Trump in 2020, it's unlikely that this self reporting is accurate since people do not want to admit they voted for such a clearly awful president - Biden. Conversely in 1963 after Kennedy was assassinated, over 60% of voters claimed they voted for Kennedy when the actual election was 50-50. Kennedy was beloved in his death hence the change in self reporting.
